NAFMNP has released its Farm Bill proposal, which aims to streamline all federal nutrition benefits programs while providing maximum flexibility for states who administer them. Focused mainly on the Farmers Market Nutrition Programs (FMNP - WIC & Seniors); the proposal furthermore includes an additional category for recipients that will allow USDA some flexibility in providing fresh fruits and vegetables through other program recipients.
